Transperth Fares 2026

From 1 January 2026, we will be introducing a new fare structure that will make travelling across the Transperth network simpler and more affordable.

The current two-zone fare cap will be replaced allowing you to travel anywhere across the Transperth network for one flat fare. A new ticketing option will be introduced giving you three hours of system-wide travel on any Transperth service, with the transfer period commencing from the time of ticket purchase or tag on of your SmartRider or contactless payment.

The cost of a Family Rider and DayRider will also decrease to $7.00 (concession DayRider will decrease to $3.20).

The new fare structure will not require you to use distance or zones to calculate your fare, making it simpler and cheaper to travel on all Transperth services.
